What cosmetic procedures can help me tighten and firm my body?

January 29th, 2012

That’s a great question and one that is asked by many men and women like you who want to improve their appearance so they can look as young, vibrant, and exuberant as they feel. There are a wide variety of advanced cosmetic body contouring procedures out there to help you achieve tightening and firming. They are especially beneficial for those areas of the body that are resistant to exercise efforts, altered by pregnancy, or naturally flabby or saggy. State-of-the-art surgical procedures like Liposuction, Tummy Tuck, Buttock Lift, Leg Lift, Arm Lift, Breast Lift and Post Bariatric Surgery can pick up where Mother Nature left off and provide you with just enough enhancement to give you that extra “wow factor.” As you are researching your options, remember that starting with a highly skilled cosmetic surgeon is crucial in your final result.

Dr. Robert Aycock is one cosmetic surgeon in the Bay Area who is being widely talked about for his dramatic tightening and firming results. He’s known for not just performing standard body contouring procedures with precision, but also for his innate ability to accentuate his patients’ natural beauty with body plastic surgery that is very individualized. For instance, if you are hoping to improve the appearance of sagging skin in the upper arms, localized fat in the lower tummy area, and cellulite in the upper thighs, Dr. Aycock can put together a custom-tailored body makeover combination designed to address all three issues in one surgery. His results are centered around accomplishing your contouring goals by making slight changes that greatly enhance your figure and ultimately improve your confidence.

If you’re seriously interested in the benefits of body contouring, talk with Dr. Aycock about the incredible changes that are possible and you won’t be disappointed. He offers many cosmetic procedures for toning and firming. His experience, reputation, and great results make him easy to trust.

The team is really helpful during personal consultations — they’ll listen to your goals carefully and then make recommendations to give you the results you want. Is There an Age Limit on Your Bikini Body?

June 5th, 2011

At what age should a woman stop wearing a bikini?

A May 2011 Today Show story highlighted a recent poll of 2000 women who put the bikini’s “expiration date” at age 47. Miniskirts were pinned at 35, and stilettos at 35. Editor-in-chief of Allure Magazine Linda Wells disagreed with the findings, saying that “the message should not be that you can’t wear these things after a certain age, the message is to take a look at yourself and wear them with confidence if you feel good about it.”

A panel of health and beauty experts agreed that it’s not about age, it’s about appropriateness and that “if it’s a matter of gravity, there are things that can help you.”

Matching What’s Outside to Inner Beauty

Beauty is more than skin deep, and attractiveness is not defined by age. Most men will tell you that confidence is an attractive trait, even more so than physical features. If you are missing that key confidence due to dissatisfaction with your physical appearance, cosmetic surgery that is performed with great skill and personalization can help you accentuate your natural beauty. An experienced, successful cosmetic surgeon is able to play upon the strength of your positive features and downplay or restore your weaker ones for a beautiful reinvention.

Cosmetic Surgery for a Bikini-Ready Body

Dr. Robert Aycock is one such San Francisco cosmetic surgeon who has helped many women enhance their figures with safe, state-of-the-art procedures. Liposuction can minimize fat deposits in places like the thighs, love handles, and stomach, and is extremely useful when diet and fitness efforts fail. A tummy tuck can help you get rid of the stubborn tummy pouch, and breast surgery can enhance and lift sagging or small breasts. Other procedures like the buttock lift, leg lift, and arm lift can target specific body areas to get you back in the bikini game.

Choosing Your Swim Attire

Today’s swimwear styles are creative and cater to all body types. From the Brazilian bikini to the modest one-piece, there is something for everyone out there. If you prefer to ease your way back to the bikini, try a tankini that combines a tank top for more coverage with a normal bikini bottom. Visit a comprehensive swimwear shop and play with different shapes and fits until you find one that flatters. Experts agree the golden rule of choosing swimwear is only this: wear what you feel comfortable in.

As many women age, descriptions of their personal style often change from  “hot” and “sexy” to “tasteful” or “classy.” Whether your philosophy is “leave something to the imagination” or “flaunt it if you’ve got it,” Dr. Aycock and his team can help you fine-tune your shape with state-of-the-art body contouring procedures.

To quote Today Show co-anchor Natalie Morales, “If Sharon Stone can do it at age 53, then why can’t you?”

Tone and Firm With a Tummy Tuck

April 4th, 2009

For many of people, diet and exercise alone will not be enough to help them achieve their ideal body size and shape. Body contouring is a safe and effective way to enhance your figure and create a look you can be proud to show off. The tummy tuck procedure is a popular plastic surgery option that lets you target one of the biggest problem areas for men and women — the stomach “pooch.”

The tummy tuck surgery has been performed on millions of patients worldwide. The results can be amazing, especially when you choose a highly skilled plastic surgeon who can help you reach your ideal proportions. For men, the tummy tuck can dramatically reduce the “spare tire” appearance, creating a more chiseled, toned stomach. For women, the removal of excess fat in the tummy area can not only knock off a couple of pant sizes, it can improve the chest-to-waist ratio and enhance overall proportions. This procedure is also great for patients who have lost weight and want to remove loose skin for a more youthful, solid stomach appearance. A mini-tummy tuck is available for patients who need less correction than the full tummy tuck offers.

During the tummy tuck (or abdominoplasty), the surgeon removes excess skin and tightens the stomach muscles. Liposuction may be used to remove stubborn fat tissue. Incisions are hidden in the pubic area and belly button for a smooth, flawless tummy appearance. Read more about what happens during surgery and what to expect post-operatively.
