During Your Breast Augmentation Consultation

Your breast augmentation consultation is where you get the chance to meet with your plastic surgeon, discuss your goals for your procedure, and get a feel for if this person is the right surgeon for you. Remember, the consultation is in your hands – the plastic surgeon should be doing their best to make you feel comfortable, not treat you like you’re just another patient.

Your breast augmentation consultation will usually start with a review of what you’re looking for from the surgery. From there, your plastic surgeon should review your medical history to determine if you’re a good candidate for the procedure.

If you are a candidate, the consultation will progress to a breast examination. Your plastic surgeon will measure your breasts and make recommendations for implant sizes based on your body type. He or she will also discuss the different implant types available to you and help you make the decision that’s best for your lifestyle needs. The consultation may also include trying on sample sizes so that you have a real idea of what your results can be. The stages of recovery from surgery and when you can expect to see results will also be discussed.

Finally, the consultation will end with a cost estimate, as well as information about financing options available at the plastic surgery practice.

How Do I Prepare for My Breast Augmentation Consultation?

One of the best things you can do to prepare for your breast augmentation consultation is to gather up information about your medical history from your physician. That way, you’ll have all the answers you need for this crucial part of the consultation. Apart from that, preparing for your breast augmentation consultation means getting in the mental mindset of knowing what you want, so you can make your decision with as much confidence as possible!

They made everything about the visit feel comfortable. From the minute I walked in the door the lady at the front desk greeted me with nothing but kindness . Linda then took me back and although I was nervous to remove my clothes she made the whole situation comfortable and as unawkward as possible . Dr. Aycock is very professional and answered every question I had with honestly and patients . Although I am young I appreciated that they didn’t speak down to me as if I was not able to afford something as expensive as a breast augmentation. All the staff treated me as if I was anyone else . I look forward to getting my procedure done with dr. Aycock and I most definitely will be recommending him if any of my friends or family are in need of a plastic surgeon! 10/10 for sure !
