Latisse®

What Is Latisse®?

Latisse® is a prescription treatment that can be applied in the comfort of your home to give yourself longer, darker, fuller lashes. Eyelashes can get shorter and thinner as you age, so having fuller, more contoured and well-defined lashes gives your eyes a more youthful look.

Preparing for Latisse®

You should remove your mascara and contact lenses before applying Latisse®. Latisse® is applied to the upper eyelid. You can put your contact lenses back in after fifteen minutes. Each application should be made once a day and you should use the single-use per eye applicator to avoid inadvertently spreading any germs or bacteria in or around the eyes.

How Does Latisse® Work?

Latisse® is a prescription-only, topical treatment that’s proven to regrow fuller, darker lashes. After removing your makeup and contact lenses, you’ll apply the medicine to the base of your upper eyelid with a single-use applicator. You can put your contacts back in about 15 minutes after applying Latisse®.

If you use Latisse® every day, you’ll see noticeable results in about 16 weeks. Some people experience redness and itching when using Latisse®. Very rarely, the colored part of your eye may become tinted brown.
