What Is CelluSmooth™?
Sciton® CelluSmooth™ is an innovative laser treatment that separates the internal structure of the layers of skin, emulsifies fat and tightens the surface of the skin to lessen the appearance of dimpled, lumpy skin. While Sciton® CelluSmooth™ treatment can be performed on nearly any area of the body, the treatment works especially well on the typically troublesome areas of the stomach, thighs, and buttocks. By releasing the fibrous bands in the skin structure, emulsifying excess fat, the appearance of uneven, dimpled skin can be reduced and the overall structure of the skin improved. Dr. Aycock works with patients on a plan to help target areas that cause the most concern.
Benefits of CelluSmooth™
CelluSmooth™ offers a number of benefits including the following:
- Tighter, softer, smoother-looking skin.
- A visible reduction of cellulite, dimpled thighs and “orange peel” skin.
Preparing for CelluSmooth™
There is no specific preparation regimen needed to have CelluSmooth™ performed. The treatment itself takes a short amount of time and full results are visible in as little as a month.
How Is CelluSmooth™ Performed?
A small laser light is used to emulsify the fat under the skin and tighten the collagen fibers, which results in tighter, more toned skin. CelluSmooth™ is a minimally invasive procedure that can give you visible results after just one treatment. Of course, many patients are so thrilled by the results that they often undertake subsequent treatments for even greater results.
Because CelluSmooth™ is a precise laser treatment and is minimally invasive, patients may be excited to learn that there are no restrictions or downtime, so they can return to their normal activities right away.
