Xeomin

What is Xeomin?

Xeomin is an FDA-approved injection that’s designed to smooth away the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines on the forehead and between the eyebrows. Xeomin contains a protein that’s similar in nature to Botox in that it interrupts the brain’s nerve signals to the muscles at the treatment site.

Our injectors will offer a personalized Xeomin treatment to help improve the look of frown lines, leading to younger and smoother-looking skin. The effects of Xeomin can last about three months and can be repeated as needed.

Dr. Aycock and his staff are committed to making you comfortable during your Xeomin procedure. A numbing cream can be applied to the treatment area before injection.

Xeomin Recovery

Ice or a local anesthetic cream may be used to help ease any discomfort at the injection site. You may feel a slight headache or discomfort at the injection site. Rarely (in less than 1% of cases), some drooping of the eyelids may occur, causing the brows to return to their normal position within a few months of treatment. You’ll ideally want to repeat your Xeomin procedure about every three months to maintain your results.
