SkinTyte™ is a unique skin-tightening treatment that uses pulses of infrared light. This type of light transforms into heat. How Long Does SkinTyte™ Last?
Your results will take a few months to develop fully. From that point, the new collagen will continue to support your skin for at least a year and sometimes up to two years, depending on how well you follow the skincare recommendations from Dr. Aycock’s team. Some people schedule yearly maintenance sessions to keep their skin firm and youthful.
What is SkinTyte™ Treatment Like?
We offer numbing cream to prevent discomfort, but most people find it unnecessary. You may experience feelings of warmth, but special sapphire cooling tips keep the surface of your skin cool and comfortable while the heat works on the deeper layers beneath.
What Results Will I See With SkinTyte™?
Most people will need two three to five treatments to achieve the best results. We will space these two to four weeks apart to let your skin recover and start its rejuvenation process. You should avoid sun exposure and wear a dermatologist-approved sunscreen containing zinc oxide or titanium dioxide such as Skin Presence Ultra Sheer SPF to protect your skin while it heals. Continued sun protection will help your results last much longer.
