For people seeking to rejuvenate their skin by getting rid of hyperpigmentation and the appearance of spider veins, a BBL™ photofacial can help. These treatments improve your skin’s own ability to regenerate itself for skin that looks and feels more youthful.

What is a BBL™ Photofacial?

A BBL™ photofacial uses a broad spectrum of light wavelengths to target pigmentation in the skin and stimulate essential proteins like collagen. After several sessions, people see smoother, more even-toned skin, and they will see ongoing collagen development for several months.

How Does a BBL™ Photofacial Work?

Lasers create a wide spectrum of light. A BBL™ photofacial targets the areas of excessive melanin and other pigments, reducing the appearance of dark spots, sun damage, and redness. A BBL™ photofacial also causes the skin to initiate a repair process that causes it to produce more collagen. Additional collagen adds to the skin’s support network and makes the skin look smoother and firmer.

You will probably need more than one treatment to achieve your desired results, but Dr. Aycock and his team will examine your skin and help determine a treatment plan for you. You will usually see results after a few days, although results can continue to improve for up to two weeks. We recommend anywhere from three to six sessions, followed by two maintenance treatments per year to maintain your results.

What are the Benefits of a BBL™ Photofacial?

  • Minimal downtime and discomfort
  • Improve skin’s tone and texture with renewed collagen
  • Decrease in pigmentation issues, including environmental damage
  • The quick procedure only lasts about half an hour
  • Achieve skincare goals with a noninvasive treatment
  • Improve your self-confidence knowing that your skin looks amazing

How Long is Recovery From a BBL™ Photofacial?

You will experience some redness and possibly soreness, something like a sunburn. This usually only lasts a few hours but can last up to a day. Dark spots may peel a little as they fade away. You can resume normal activities as soon as you finish treatment.

Clean your skin only with gentle, unscented products for a few days, and avoid applying exfoliants or any products that might irritate the skin. Wearing sunscreen is essential to maintain your results and prevent further hyperpigmentation and sun damage.

Am I a Good Candidate for a BBL™ Photofacial?

If you have hyperpigmentation, sun damage, environmental damage from exposure to environmental toxins, or redness from facial veins, you may be a good candidate for a BBL™ photofacial. With regular maintenance, results can last a long time.

“My experience at the clinic was actually fantastic. The technician, Ashley, was super friendly and talked me through the entire laser procedure, letting my know step by step what she was doing, what was happening, and what effect it was going to have on my skin. As soon as I had a question about what was going on, she’d obviously fielded similar thoughts from previous patients before, because she would inform me before I would even ask the question. I was in and out in no time at all, but not all rushed. It was easy, convenient and just all-round a really great experience. It’s nice to be taken care of by professionals who just handle everything in their stride. Highly recommend :)” *
