Dermal fillers are a type of soft tissue filler designed to mimic the effect of the body’s natural skin-plumping compounds. They help address issues such as wrinkles and add facial volume. Patients frequently use dermal fillers at Dr. Robert Aycock’s practice to augment facial features and create a more desirable appearance.

Cost of Dermal Fillers

The price of dermal fillers depends on the type of product the patient chooses, and the quantity required. Costs typically average between $500 and $750 per syringe but can increase for specialized treatments. Please note that the price also depends on the experience and qualifications of the person administering the treatment.

Types of Dermal Fillers

Dr. Aycock and our nurse specialists provide a range of dermal fillers, such as Restylane®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, and Sculptra®. Some dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid or derivative compounds. Others use microspheres suspended in a natural gel-like substance.

Restylane Family of Fillers

The Restylane® family of fillers includes  Restylane®, Restylane Kysse®, Restylane Lyft®, Restylane Silk®. Restylane® uses a compound that adds to the body’s natural hyaluronic acid to plump the skin, helping it appear more youthful. Restylane Kysse® is a highly flexible filler explicitly designed for the lips. Restylane Lyft® is for nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and cheeks. And, finally, Restylane Silk® is an FDA-approved injectable gel that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth.

Sculptra®

Sculpra® differs from Juvederm®, and Restylane® because patients can use it to add small amounts of volume to the face, instead of more substantial quantities to correct deep lines and wrinkles. The treatment helps to improve facial contouring around the cheeks and chin over time and offers superior skin volume and elasticity. Visible results increase over time.

Dermal Fillers Consultations Available

Radiesse

Radiesse® doesn’t use hyaluronic acid. Instead, it relies on microbeads suspended in a natural gel injected into the skin using a fine needle. Results are often immediate and last for around a year before being reabsorbed into the body. Our aesthetic nurse specialists can consult with you about how to get the most out of the treatment and how it can enhance other procedures, such as eyelift, facelift, and Botox®.
