As we age, loss of facial volume and skin elasticity leads to lines, wrinkles, and deep creases in the skin. You can correct all these signs of aging with the Restylane® family of dermal fillers.

What is Restylane®?

The Restylane® family of products uses different formulations of hyaluronic acid. This safe, water-soluble material duplicates the hyaluronic acid that occurs naturally in your skin, where it helps draw in and hold onto moisture. When injected into areas with lines, creases, and folds, Restylane® lifts them and creates a smoother, more youthful appearance.

What Can Restylane® Be Used For?

Each Restylane® dermal filler targets a particular area of the face. Dr. Aycock and his team will choose the correct fillers for your needs and concerns.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft is a versatile dermal filler used to lift and smooth deep folds and creases. It can be used to add volume to the cheeks, giving them a younger, fuller appearance. It also corrects marionette lines, nasolabial creases, and deep folds around the nose and mouth.

Restylane® Kysse

As the name suggests, Restylane® Kysse adds volume and fullness to the lips. Whether your lips have lost volume with age or you feel like they lack fullness, this filler can help. Results look and feel natural, even when talking or smiling.

Restylane® Silk

As the first filler approved for fine lines around the mouth, Restylane® Silk is resilient but natural-looking and flexible. It adds subtle volume enhancement to the lips, then gives them a fuller appearance by filling in lines and wrinkles to define the lip contours.

How Long Does Restylane® Last?

Over time your body will clear away the dermal filler material, so your results will begin to fade. You can generally expect Restylane® fillers to last between six and twelve months. Restylane® Lyft lasts eight to ten months, Silk lasts six months to a year, and Kysse can last up to a year. You can have injections as often as needed to maintain your results.

Is There Any Downtime With Restylane®?

You can return to your usual activities after treatment. Some people experience soreness at the injection sites. This resolves within a few days. You can apply ice or topical anesthetic cream to make yourself comfortable.

Am I a Good Candidate for Restylane®?

Most people can have Restylane safely because the body recognizes hyaluronic acid and does not react to it. You may not make a good candidate if you have had reactions to products like this in the past.

I finally had coolsculpting on my tummy and what a surprisingly easy treatment it was. Ashley the nurse was fantastic and she used the new hand piece that is smaller and faster. It was painless except for the 2-minute massage after the treatment but not bad at all. I’m a little sore today but this was easy-breezy and I can’t wait to see my results. I highly recommend it.
